About Us

Beth began her music studies on the flute at the age of 10 in Phoenix, Arizona. She quickly showed promise, and throughout middle school and high school took private lessons and attended Northern Arizona University Music Camp. She placed in the flute sections of many honor bands and youth orchestras. At 16, she started singing seriously, and also placed in honor choirs. After graduating from high school, she attended Arizona State University as a Musicology major. She graduated in 1997, and in 2000 started at Northern Arizona University as a conducting major, graduating from there in 2002. In 2005, she moved to Canada, after marrying Gary Waleski. She then earned her final degree, a master's in Adolescent Education from Daemen College, in 2010. Now, she lives in Oakville with her husband Gary, her dog Toby, and a growing music studio. All students in her studio who have taken the Royal Academy of Music (RCM) exams have scored in the top third.
